Sadly, I just recently learned of your passing. Butch was a fair, kind, & compassionate person who told it like it is. And always focused on the greater good. He lived, breathed, & bled Democrat, ever since I can remember. Many do not know that I have known Butch for over 45 years, & he never treated anyone any differently, when they stumbled in life, or hit a rocky stretch on the road of life. Always there to lend a helping hand, or more importantly words of wisdom, if asked for his guidance. I have thru the years, seen many people develop their personal & political careers with his direction, guidance, & plain old hard work. Butch always tried to encourage, & bring out the very best in people for public service. From Diplomats,to Governors, Mayors, Senators, Congressmen,Speakers,Sheriffs, & the multitude of elected local officials- Butch helped guide their career paths into public service. As time goes on, people tasked with his position will realize the enormous commitment he made with his time/life/work balance. Thank You. Kurt Koloszar.
