Pamela "Pam" Craig, born November 19, 1948, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on February 28, 2026, in New Albany, Indiana. With a remarkable career spanning over three decades, Pam dedicated her professional life to serving the US government, retiring from the Robley Rex VA Medical Center, where she excelled as an Oxygen Coordinator. Pam was a dedicated member of the Watermark Church in Sellersburg, IN.
Pam was not only a dedicated professional but also a loving and kind individual who touched the lives of many. Known for her thoughtful nature and the ability to connect with everyone she met, Pam was someone who could light up a room with her warm spirit. She immensely enjoyed spending time with her family, making cherished memories, and participating actively in her community as a member of the Sellersburg Moose Lodge.
In addition to her career and personal strengths, Pam was proud of her family and found joy in raising her children. Her life was enriched by the bonds she formed with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her endless pride and happiness.
Pam is survived by her beloved daughter, Kerri (Bill) Dehn; her son, Jeffrey (Hope) Craig; her grandsons, Zachrey (Emily) Craig and Kyle Craig; her great-granddaughters, Cheyenne Dehn, and Bristol Dehn; and her great-grandson, Levi Craig. She is also survived by her brother, Michael (Christine) Slaughter, and her half-sister, Becky Kemper along with several nieces, nephews and extended family to cherish her memory.
Pam was preceded in death by her loving parents, William and Mildred Slaughter; her husband, Tom Craig; her grandson, Dalton Dehn; and her brother, Bradly Slaughter.
Her joyful nature was evident in her hobbies, which included diamond art, mowing grass, and flower gardening. Pam also had a fondness for celebrations, particularly enjoying a big piece of white birthday cake, a testament to her sweet and loving character.
Pam's visitation services will be held at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, Indiana, on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at the same location, beginning at 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
