Pam Little, 66, of Bolivar, departed this life on Friday evening, October 11, 2024, at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

She was born in Memphis, the daughter of the late Shirley Faye Smith Ervin and Norman Gene Ervin.   She grew up there and was valedictorian of her class at Ridgeway High School.  Ms. Little received her degree as a registered nurse where she also graduated at the head of her class and worked many years in the nursing profession giving excellent and loving care to her patients.

A member of Middleburg Baptist Church, she lived most of her life in Hardeman County.  In her leisure time, she enjoyed crocheting and was an avid reader who was known, many times, to read a book in one sitting.  She will be remembered by her family as a loving mother and "Mimi" to her grandchildren.

Private memorial services will be scheduled at a future date.

She leaves her daughters, Christy (Jonathan) Smith of Decaturville, TN, Patricia (Bill) Weinert of Tuskasegee, NC and, Katie (Alessio) Mauro of Somerville; her sister, Joan (Jim) Blasingame of Knoxville; her brothers, Bobby L. (Susan) Ervin of Memphis and Rob G. (Linda) Ervin of Bolivar; her six grandchildren, Alex, Emma and Ava Smith, Cody Russell, Davide and Liam Mauro; and her aunt, Roberta Parramore of Toone.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Stephen Lynn Russell on May 7, 2014.

The family request memorials be sent to the American Diabetes Association.
