Pamela (Pam) Caver was born July 20, 1964 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Irene & Robert L. Caver

AND Carl J. Grant (Teresa E. Grant) of

Indiana. Pam moved with her parents to Cleveland, Ohio at an early age. She grew up in East Cleveland

and later graduated with honors from Shaw High School in 1982.

Pamela held positions of employment with Cleveland Clinic, Nordstroms in their shoe department and

with Swagloc with whom she worked at the time of her death. She was known by her co-workers at

Swagloc as "Ms. P". Everyone enjoyed talking with "Ms. P" where they knew they would get sage advice &

great words of wisdom. Pamela was a hard worker and worked two (2) to three (3) jobs in different

phases of her life. She was strong willed. She had the drive and determination to overcome obstacles,

figure things out and make things work.

Pamela made friends easily. To know her was to love her. She had a unique laugh that was contagious. If

you heard her laughing, you knew it was her from a mile away. Pam was a "party" girl. She enjoyed board

games, playing spades, shooting pool and listening to Motown and old school R & B. And YES don't forget

she was a "Die Hard Browns Fan".

Anyone who knew Pam, knew her family was her life. They knew how much she loved and cherished her

children and her grands. She is survived by her father Carl J. Grant & his wife Teresa, her daughter Ebony

Caver (with whom she lived); her son Demarcus Caver (Danielle); her daughter Latasha Caver preceded

her in death. She had 11 grandchildren: Treyvon Valentine, Destine Weeden, Jamari Anderson, Develle

Belle, Regina Pryah, Demarcus Caver Jr., Jaeda Caver, Marnae Hullum, Jaylen Caver, Karma Caver &

Shanelle Caver.

She is survived by her siblings – Sisters: Valeria Caver, Angela Caver, Alesia McNamee, Antoinette Bostic

(William, Roceya Rogers, Tanya Burnette, Linda Ann Caver, Brenda Caver (who preceded her in death);

Brothers; Robert L. Caver & Rodrick Sims. She had a host of nieces, nephews, aunts' family & close friends.

Pam was a giver. She would give you the clothes off her back. Her legacy of giving will live on, not just

with her family……Pam's legacy will live on in the lives of those she saved and extended. Pamela Caver was

an organ donor. The ultimate gift of kindness and compassion.
