Pamela Choby Obituary
She was the beloved spouse of Lawrence (Larry) Choby for 39 wonderful years. Loving mother to her daughter, Katherine, (Ryan Winchester). Daughter of the late Raymond and Victoria (Demski) Oates.
Pam is survived by her sisters: Janice Kelly (Kevin) and Ursula Kaltenbach; and her brothers: Blaise Oates (Stephanie), Timothy Oates (Carol), and Terrence Oates. She will be fondly remembered by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends.
A proud graduate of Divine Providence Academy and Seton Hill University, Pam dedicated many years of her career to the VA Hospital. She found great fulfillment in her role, assisting veterans as they navigated the VA Health System, a service she performed with compassion until her retirement.
In keeping with Pam's love for life and nature, a Mass and a Celebration of Life will be held on a warm spring day when the redbuds bloom.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to The Family Hospice, whose staff cared for Pam with exceptional kindness and grace in her final days.
