It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our funny, fun loving, sweet momma. Pam Copeland age 77, a resident of Troy, AL, passed away at home, peacefully surrounded by loved ones.
She was a loving momma, Granny, Gran-Gran, sister and aunt. She loved her family dearly and was always there when they needed her. She was known as momma by more than just family. Loved by all who met her. Strangers were only people who hadn't met her yet. She loved good music Gospel, Blue Grass, Country, and Old time Rock and Roll and she loved to dance.
Preceded in death by her parents; Howard and Evelyn Stafford and brother, Wayne Stafford.
Left to cherish her memory are her brother: Ken (Ronda) Stafford ; Daughters: Kimberly (Daren)Dorfman, Michelle (Jimbo) Meeks, Johanna (Matt) Walker; Grandchildren: Samuel (Candy) Bundy, James (Beth) Meeks Jr, Gennifer (Corey) Gainey, Jonathan Meeks, LeAnn (Jhonathan) Hargrove, Dominick Russell, Kayleigh Russell, Jason Walker, Stacie (Logan) Murphy. Numerous Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She will be forever loved and missed by them all.
The family would like to thank Enhabit Home Health and Hospice team for their help and services taking care of mom in her final days.
Funeral service will be held by Dillard Funeral Home. Officiated by Brother Travis Meeks.
Services will be held on Friday October 24, 2025. Visitation from 1:00 - 2:00, followed by services in the Chapel at Dillard's, with graveside at Henderson Memorial Cemetery, in Henderson, AL.
Pallbearers include James Meeks Jr, Joseph Mann, Joseph Russell, Dominick Russell, Allen Qualls, and Jason Walker. Serving as alternate pallbearer will be Samuel Bundy.
