Pamela Hosbach Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care - Robinson Township on Sep. 24, 2024.
Pamela L. (Dillon) Hosbach, 79, of Pittsburgh, died September 21, 2024. She was born December 12, 1944 in Primrose, PA and was the daughter of the late Edmond Dillon and Gloria (Hainaut). She graduated from Fort Cherry High School and has had many jobs over the years including security at Heinz Field and greeter at the Pittsburgh Home & Garden Show. Her most important role was being a mother, which she poured herself into after the very early death of her husband. Pam was Mrs. Hoz to all her children's friends. She lived on a main road and they all beep every time they pass the house, even after all these years (surely to the chagrin of her neighbors). Everyone who knew her loved her, mostly due to her sense of humor. She would dress up as Big Bird and delight children at birthday parties and even adults while attempting to direct traffic. She remained funny even until the end as the nurses and doctors would exclaim, "that woman has us cracking up"! It was Pam's wish to not have a funeral service and wanted to have her ashes spread on top of a mountain in Austria while singing "the hills are alive with sound of music". If you knew Pam at all, this makes perfect sense. Pam was proceeded in death by her husband, Edward in 1976. She is survived by her children, Kimberly Moore (Mark) and Brian Hosbach (Jen); grandchildren: Ashley Hosbach, Shane Moore, Riley Moore, Nicholas Hosbach and Zach Hosbach.
