John "Jack" Hosbach
Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Vietnam Veteran, and Friend.
Jack Hosbach, age 78, passed away on March 31, 2025, at the Michigan Veterans Home in Chesterfield, Michigan. He was surrounded by his loving family and received compassionate care from the dedicated team at the Veterans Home and Gentiva Hospice. His family is deeply grateful for the care he received.
Jack was the devoted husband of Ginny and a proud father to Becky (John Allen), Michael (Katie), and Melanie (Lance Sesi). He was also a cherished Papa to his six grandchildren: Megan, Grace, Jack, Max, William, and Thomas, whose lives he touched with love, joy, and pride. Also survived by his sisters Janis Hosbach and Judy (Steve) Hine.
A Vietnam War veteran, Jack served his country with honor and was a recipient of the Purple Heart, a symbol of his bravery and commitment. After his military service, Jack enjoyed a long and successful career as a Mechanical Engineer at Ford Motor Company, where he worked for 30 years, leaving a lasting impact on the company and his colleagues.
Known for his strong work ethic, Jack was a man of few words but immense strength and integrity. His passion for engineering and his meticulous approach to every project were hallmarks of his career. Outside of work, Jack had a playful sense of humor and a love for golf. He will be remembered for his humility, his quiet strength, and the care he took in all aspects of life.
