It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pamela Dale Howe, who left this world on November 5, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on August 8, 1950, in Sacramento, California, Pamela lived a life marked by love, strength, and resilience.
Pamela was the beloved daughter of Sue and Al McGowen. She forged a life full of passion and purpose, always driven by her fierce love for those around her. On April 1, 1972, she married Nicholas Dale Howe after a whirlwind romance that began just one week after they met in California. Their love story was a testament to her bold spirit, and together they created a family that flourished under her unwavering support and guidance.
Pamela is survived by her cherished daughter, Nikki Godden, and her devoted son, Damien Howe. She was a proud grandmother to Ryan and Nick Godden, Saryn Allen, and Paul Howe, and welcomed granddaughter-in-law Taylor Cooper into the family. The joy of her life also extended to her great-grandchild, Callie Godden, who brought her endless happiness. She leaves behind her son-in-law Charles Bates, brother Rick Kidd, sister-in-law Jane Kidd, and beloved nieces Leanne Cuevas and Cammi Lee, along with nephew Kris Kidd.
Throughout her life, Pamela was known for her fierce and sometimes stubborn nature, a characteristic that endeared her to those who had the privilege of knowing her. She was strong-willed and occasionally a bit rough around the edges, but her heart overflowed with love for those who mattered most. Pamela would want to be remembered not for perfection but for her passion for life, her steadfastness in the face of challenges, and her deep-seated love for her family.
Pamela was an Airforce widow, a role she embraced with grace and dignity, facing the challenges of life with a steadfast resolve. Her impact on her family and community was profound. She touched the lives of many through her kindness, her indomitable spirit, and her genuine care for others.
Though Pamela's journey on this earth has come to an end, her memory will live on through her family and all who knew her. Her funeral service will be held at Restlawn Funeral Home on November 20, 2025, at 1:00 PM, where we will gather to celebrate her life and the love she shared so freely.
As we say our goodbyes, we find solace in knowing that Pamela's legacy of love, strength, and passion will continue to inspire us all. In our hearts, she will forever remain a shining beacon of what it means to love fiercely and live life on one's own terms. Rest in peace, Pamela Dale Howe. You are deeply missed and forever cherished.
