Pamela Rae Zeppering Hufford, 80, passed away on September 12, 2025, at the Iroquois Memorial Resident Home.
She was born on June 16, 1945, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the daughter of Ralph Mervin Zeppering and Mary Jeanette Jones. Pamela grew up in Marion, Indiana, where she cherished time spent with her family, friends, and neighbors.
She is survived by her daughter, Amy Jo (Austin) Crawford; her niece, Melissa Lynne (Shaun) Wise; her great-nephews, Brayden and Cooper Wise; and her step-granddaughters, Caitlin Jones and Lauren Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Jeanette Zeppering; her sister, Deborah Kay Zeppering Bolan; her nephew, James "Jimbo" Bolan; and her granddaughter, Mary Alice Carter.
Pam devoted more than 40 years of her career to the Milford Canning Factory, later continuing her service when the company became The Fremont Company. She was known for her dedication and hard work, earning the respect of colleagues and friends alike. Beyond her career, Pam served on many boards throughout her lifetime, lending a helping hand and striving to make a difference.
In her leisure time, Pam enjoyed bird watching, relaxing with friends over a glass of wine, and watching her favorite crime shows. She was also known for making the best chocolate chip cookies, a treat her family and friends always looked forward to.
Per her wishes, cremation rites are being handled by Knapp Funeral Home, and there will be no visitation.
The family of Pam would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the entire team at Iroquois Memorial Hospice for their care and compassion.
