Obituary of Pamela R. Hutchinson
It is with great sadness we share that Pamela Rich Hutchinson lost her battle to cancer, but won the ultimate battle of life early morning on January 23, 2023.
Born October 30, 1958, Pam was aged 64 years young when she passed peacefully surrounded by her family. Pamela is welcomed dearly in Heaven by her father, Alton B. "Pete" Rich Jr. and mother, Doris "Dottie" Jean Little Rich. Pamela is survived by her husband of 30 years Edward Craig Hutchinson Jr., son Edward Craig Hutchinson III (28), daughter Hannah Hutchinson Cegelis (25), Son in law Philip Cegelis, and brother William "Bill" Rich (68).
Put simply, there are not enough words to encapsulate who Pam was a person. Pamela will forever be known as a dedicated and loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She was an avid golfer, lover of her pets, took pride in being the lady with big hair and was one who could spend hours, if not days, sitting peacefully by the ocean. She had a contagious laugh and a smile that warmed many hearts. Pam never met a stranger, and could easily make any 15 minute encounter into an hour and a half conversation. She loved supporting her community in any way possible, and gave her all to anything she committed to.
Pamela Hutchinson's memorial service will take place on February 5, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at King's Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to The First Tee, The Florida Boxer Foundation, Inc., or any cancer research society of your choice.
King's Chapel: 2735 Sand Lake Rd. Longwood, FL 32779
