Pamela Anne Jordan, age 74, of Medina, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born to Raymond and Dorothy (Bauer) Huegel on November 22, 1949, in Saginaw, Michigan. Pamela retired as the Library Director of Ashland Public Library after over 20 years. She was a member of Medina United Methodist Church and Kiwanis. Pamela was an avid birder and certified naturalist; she enjoyed being outside and was known for her "Grandma Adventures". She loved to travel and was happy just sitting in the sand, listening to the waves, and reading a book. Pam also loved playing games like euchre, scrabble, and Trivial Pursuit with her family and friends.
Pamela is survived by her children, Jennifer Siravo (Steve) and Adam Jordan (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Ethan, Amelia, Tessalie, and Sebastian; and her brother, George Huegel (Debbie). She was preceded by her parents and her younger brother, Andrew Huegel (Mary).
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., followed by visitation until 6:00 p.m. Officiating, Rev. Tal Lewis. Interment at Roselawn Memorial Garden, Saginaw, MI. with a service for family and friends located there will take place at a yet to be determined date.
In lieu of flowers family suggest donations in Pamela's name to the American Cancer Society or the Myotonic Dystrophy Foundation.
