Obituary published on Legacy.com by Marsh Funeral Chapel - Marlette on Jul. 30, 2025.
Pamela Mae Mutschler, 72, of Decker, Michigan, passed away peacefully at Marlette United Hospice Service.
Pam was born January 28, 1953, the seventh of nine children, to Ervin and Minerva (Hill) Raymond. During her adolescence, she spent many hours horseback riding with her dear friend, Ev Chorba. She attended Brown City Schools and later earned her GED.
Pam and her former spouse, Ed Fuller, had 4 children together whom they adored.
Pam worked in medical billing for several doctors, including the late doctors, Mohan Dass Macha in Marlette and Kenneth Kube in Bad Axe. She also built two successful businesses of her own: first, Fuller Medical Billing, and later, Tailwaggers Kennel and Grooming. She married Robert Mutschler on March 12, 2005. They were married nearly 20 years until his death earlier this year.
Pam enjoyed everything but sitting still- gardening, horseback riding, painting, camping, reading, and working on home projects. Especially later in her life, she was a devoted dog lover. Most of all, though, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. To Pam, the larger and louder the gathering was, the better. She particularly enjoyed cheering for her favorite Raiders: Karly, Shelby, Bryce, Brett, Edwin, Shandy, Travis, Trey, Clay, and Hallie.
Pam was a devoted parishioner of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Marlette for over 40 years, teaching Sunday School and serving as a school board member and church treasurer.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert Mutschler; her brothers Ervin, Dale, and Danny Raymond; her sister Beverly Clark; and her daughter Kandy Fuller.
She is survived by her children: Holly (Barry) Havens of Snover; Troy (Jessie) Fuller of Decker, and Shauna (Denny) Lester of Marlette; siblings Lonny Raymond, Charles Raymond, Elsie Lamie, and Sherrie Hutchinson; grandchildren Karly (Alex) Miller, Shelby (Andrew) Pinnell, Bryce Havens, Brett Havens, Edwin Fuller, Shandy Havens, Travis (Kayden) Fuller, Trey Lester, Clay Fuller, and Hallie Lester; stepchildren, Chris (Brandy) Mutschler and Dawn (Marty) Roberts; her first great-grandchild to arrive in August; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors from 2-8 PM on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at the Marsh Funeral Chapel, Marlette and from 10-11 AM on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at Our Savior Lutheran Church 6770 Marlette Rd., Marlette Michigan.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at Our Savior Lutheran Church with burial following immediately after in Evergreen Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the family discretionary fund in care of Troy Fuller.
