Born Pamela Sue Goldberg on June 26th, 1945, in Denver, Colorado to parents Charles Goldberg of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Elaine Hubbs of Milikin, Colorado.

Known to her friends and family as Pam, she was the second of four children, with her older sister, Judith Leonard; her first younger brother, Michael Goldberg; and her youngest brother, Bruce "Bud" Goldberg. Pam and her three siblings were all born and raised in Denver, Colorado.

Pam attended and graduated as an honor student from Cherry Creek High School in the class of 1963. Pam then acquired her associate's degree in Nursing at the University of Colorado Boulder in 1968.

In 1967, Pam married Melvin Burr of Littleton, Colorado, and her 1st son, Brandon William Northcott, was born in 1967.

After divorcing in 1968, Pam met Joe Northcott of Stillwater, Oklahoma, on the CU Denver Campus as she was finishing up her degree in Nursing, and the couple married in 1970. That same year, Pam had her 2nd son, Chad Lamarr Northcott.

The family lived in Aurora, Colorado, where Pam lived her entire life. As a young mother and wife, Pam enjoyed many activities that she participated in with her husband and two young boys. The family went on many camping and fishing trips to the Rocky Mountains, which Pam loved so much. They would ride motorcycles, hike, ski, explore, and discover one of the many hidden fun places located in the mountains of Colorado, where families could spend a day of fun and adventure together.

Having two boys who were involved in numerous sporting activities, Pam could usually be found on the sidelines of a football game, standing track side at a motocross race or behind home plate cheering on her sons and all of the other boys on the team that became like sons to her because they spent so much time as the Northcotts' home.

She worked as an accountant for most of her professional career. In 1980, Pam and her husband Joe started their own custom home building business, Norco Construction. Pam was also a partner with her sister Judy in an accounting and bookkeeping business in 1985.

She divorced Joe in 1984 and never remarried. Pam spent her life raising her two boys while working as an accountant. When her niece, Lisa Leonard, had two children, Lanie and Brady Lamb, Pam took on a new role as Aunt Pam, watching the kids so Lisa and her husband, Dan, could work and save money on daycare costs. Pam loved having the kids around, and they loved spending time with her as well. Soon her oldest son, Brandon, was married and had two girls of his own, Kathren Notthcott and Elizabeth Norhcott, making Pam a grandmother for the 1st time. Her youngest son is also married and had a boy, Alexzander Northcott, who was born between Brandon's two girls. Pam doted on all three of the grandkids, and she was thrilled to have three new babies in the family and around her house all the time. Just like everyone who ever knew Pam, they loved her dearly, as she loved them in return.

Pam traveled quite a bit during her life, filling her days with family holidays, birthdays, kids, grandkids, lunch dates with her brother and sister, and all the other things that life brings with a big extended family. Pam was also an avid reader. A great lover of books, Pam was known to finish a full-length novel in a matter of days. During her lifetime, she read thousands of books. All that reading made Pam an extremely intelligent woman who could hold an educated conversation about virtually any subject. Pam was also a lifelong sports fan, particularly of "Her Boys! Her Team! The Denver Broncos!" Pam never missed a game, and on any given Sunday, you could hear Pam yelling at the TV, critiquing each play with a cheer or her colorful opinion of the bad ones...
