Pamela (Pam) Ross-Holloway was born on November 21, 1962, at Queen of the World Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, to Ruby M. Arnold. She was the youngest daughter of seven siblings.

Pam was preceded in death by her mother, brothers: Anthony Arnold and Kenneth King, and sister, Theresa Arnold.

She graduated from Southeast High School in 1980, and later pursued higher education at the University of Phoenix and Walden University, where she earned her Master’s Degree in Psychology. Over the course of her career, Pam held leadership and service positions with the Black Archives, the Kansas City Missouri School District, Swope Health Center, and Preferred Family Healthcare. Later in life, she dedicated herself to caring for children in her home.

Pam was a woman of many talents and passions. She loved shopping, cooking, helping others, singing, styling hair, and cutting both men’s and women’s hair. She enjoyed traveling and was a devoted Kansas City Chiefs fan, proudly wearing her Chiefs attire.

At an early age, Pam accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She attended Mt. Pisgah under the leadership of Rev. R. D. Fields.

In 1994, Pam met Alton Holloway, and the two were united in marriage in 2012. Family was central to her life. When her sister Terri passed away in 2001, Pam lovingly took her nephew Stephone under her wing, later embracing his daughter, Ste’orm, born in 2016, as her own great-niece and continuing to nurture that special bond.

Pam leaves behind to cherish her memory and celebrate her legacy with her husband, Alton Holloway; his son, Damond Russell, and daughter, Jessica Holloway; her brother, Michael Arnold (Mary); her sisters, Debra Arnold-Waxter (Reginald), and Joan Arnold, all of Kansas City, MO; and sister-in-law, Pat Arnold. She is also survived by her uncle, Eddie Williams; aunts, Pauline Williams, and Diane Williams, all of Kansas City, MO, Patricia Williams of Los Angeles, CA, Marilyn Allan of San Bernardino, CA; and uncle, Keith Williams of Dayton, OH; special friends, Regina Green, Chenell Evans-Austin, and Norris Davis, a very close woman known as “Mother” to all, Mary V. Arnold, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many other beloved family members and friends. Special appreciation to Phoenix Home Care and Hospice, Jamie Pearl and Makila Tatum

Pam will be remembered for her generosity, her strength, her devotion to family, and her unshakable faith.
