Ms. Pamela Faith Shafer

Pamela "Pam" Faith Shafer, 68, of Columbus, passed from this life Saturday, September 6, 2025 at her home.
Pam was born June 16, 1957, in Franklin, Indiana, the daughter of Wilfred R. and Naoma C. Provost Bedwell.
Ms. Shafer worked in the administrative sector of healthcare for much of her life. She was the heart of her family and a dear friend to many. She found joy in scrapbooking, exploring her family's history, traveling, and, most of all, spending time with the people she loved. Her laughter, kindness, and love will be deeply missed but forever carried in our hearts.
Survivors include her daughters, Jennifer (Hugh) Pritchett of Flower Mound, Texas, Nyky (Romie) Smith of Canton, Ohio; grandchildren, Malcolm, Aaliyah, Aleyse, Mychal; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Sandra (Dennis) Huntington of Columbus, Gerald (Debbie) Bedwell of Nineveh; sister-in-law, Colleen Bedwell of Kansas City, Missouri; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Brandon Wilson and brother, Bobby Bedwell.
In keeping with the family's request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service honoring her life will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday at Barkes Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike with Pastor Al White officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.
