Born October 23, 1953 in Asheville, NC, she was a daughter of the late William Edward and Lucille Parton Huffstetler.
Surviving is her husband, Charles D. Whiteside; sons, David Jason Whiteside, Christopher Ryan Whiteside (Amber) and Jason David Whiteside; granddaughter, Emma Whiteside; sister, Sherrie Reyes; and brothers, Jerry and Johnny Huffstetler.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 2, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Fairview, NC.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is assisting the family.
