Pandora L. “Pandy” Smith, age 67 of West Alexandria, OH passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025 at her residence. She was born July 21, 1957 in Rockford, IL. Pandy was a graduate of Dixie High School; she was a dietary aide at Vancrest Health Care Center in Eaton; and was the owner and operator of “Puppy Clips” dog grooming for many years.
"Our Mother" Pandora, Pandy, Pandany, Candy, Princess, and Neightborette were just a few of her common nicknames. She was a genuine, straight-forward, kind person. She loved and cared for her friends and family. She had such a fun, quirky personality. I believe our mother kept every friend she ever made throughout her life and that says a lot. There was an exception to this: if you ever messed with her brother, Beaver, then you're done for good. Our mother of course loved her dogs; they truly gave her so much joy! She also had a passion for making things beautiful. Priority #1 was always her home's curb appeal. She loved her flowers and creating an inviting front porch. Painting and changing things inside her home was something that kept her creative passions alive. Other than being creative, it was the simple things in life that kept "Princess" Pandy's life content: just make sure the Pepsi was in the fridge and that there was plenty of ice!
Pandora was preceded in death by her mother Gail Litton; father Don Anderson; and brothers Charles “Beaver” Litton and Kevin Anderson. She is survived by her daughters Deedra (Mike) Collins, Erica Davidson (Skott Maher) and Ashton Smith (Brandon Vorhis); grandchildren Taylor Clark, Grant Collins, Maycie Davidson, Hannah Collins, Aaron Collins, Brayden Davidson, Elijah Vorhis, Jayne Collins, Carsyn Davidson, Charlotte Collins, Addisyn Davidson, Vivian Collins, Lucelia Collins and Jakobi Vorhis; great grandchildren Liam and Aiden Nguyen; best friend Matt Burns; and beloved dogs Ginger and Lola. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 Noon at the Community Christian Church, 11 Dorsey Akers Drive, West Alexandria, OH. Burial will follow at Trissel Cemetery in New Lebanon. Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services, West Alexandria is assisting with arrangements.
