Pansy B. Baker, 95, of LaGrange, IN died at Parkview LaGrange Hospital on April 12, 2025.
Mrs. Baker was born on January 11, 1930, in Wolcottville, IN to Frank Dekay and Mabel (Law) Randol.
For many years she worked at the former Campsco Mushroom Farm in Howe, IN. She enjoyed working in her yard and garden, especially tending to her flowers, going fishing and was an animal lover. Pansy loved to listen to music and could often be found in the kitchen cooking for her family.
On November 9, 1946, in Angola, IN she married David L. Baker, Sr.; he preceded her in death on July 8, 2007. She was married to Ralph H. Pelfrey on September 9, 2012, in Ontario, IN; he preceded her in death on July 5, 2015.
Surviving are two daughters, Shirley (Harold) Hall of Howe, IN, Sharon (Morris) Smallwood of Howe, IN; three sons, David L., Jr. (Susan) Baker of Howe, IN, Dale (Wanda) Baker of Howe, IN, and James (Suzanne) Baker of Orland, IN; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Ackerman of LaGrange, IN.
Preceding her in death along with her husbands, were her parents; a son, Richard Baker; and a brother, William Randol.
Private family services will take place.
Burial will take place in Eagle Cemetery in rural Howe, IN.
Memorials may be made to Ark Animal Rescue and Adoption. PO Box 95, Howe, IN 46746.
