Pascual Montoy Segovia passed away on October 7, 2025, in Houston, Texas. He was born on April 26, 1931, in Big Wells, Texas, to Eusebio and Simona (Montoy) Segovia.
Mr. Segovia was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Maria Luisa Molina Segovia; sisters, Eusebia Minjares and Josephine Garcia; brothers Jose Segovia and Carmen Segovia.
He is survived by his daughter, Ana Mireles; sons, Pascual M. Segovia, Jr. (Pauline), Esteban Segovia, and Andres Segovia (Carmen);and many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Grandchildren include April Saldana (Kristian), Vincent Montalvo (Vanessa), Jason Montalvo, Esteban Segovia II (Victoria), Lori Segovia, Matthew Segovia (Jessica), Patrick Merritt, Valerie Segovia (Gary), Briana Merritt (Gese), Isaiah Segovia, Eliana Merritt, Ashlyn Segovia, Milagros Segovia, Noah Segovia, and Andrea Segovia, and Great-grandchildren include Zander, Landon, Sarah, Easton, Camryn, Ezra, Stella, Mia, Jaxton, Mikaela, Gabriella, Braxton, Marcus, Solana, Maddison, Rozlyn, and Steelo
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Palm Heights Mortuary, 3711 S. Zarzamora St., San Antonio, Texas 78225, with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM. A Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 4401 S. Flores St., San Antonio, Texas. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery No. 2.
He will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather of sunshines whose life was centered on faith, family, and hard work. His kindness, humility, and dedication to those he loved will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
