Pasquale S. Amore

Pasquale S. Amore, of New Haven passed away peacefully at his home on January 14, 2026. He was the husband of the late Mary Taupier Amore. Born in New Haven on March 18, 1936 son of the late Frank P. and Anna Rocco Amore, Pasquale was a proud Korean era veteran of the US Army. He was a heavy equipment mechanic and manager for many years for Schiavone Scrap. Pasquale also enjoyed woodworking, building model airplanes, gardening, and cooking and barbecuing for his family. He is the loving father of Yvonne Amore (Jose A. Ortiz) and Mark Amore (Kim Hunter). Brother of the late Marie, Michaelina, Michael, John, Andrew and Vincenzo Amore. Grandfather of Jorge(Kayla), Justin(Vlora), Pedro, Mary and Allyson. Great grandfather of Aiden, Gabriella and Shanova.

Visiting hours will be held Wednesday morning from 9:00-10:30 in Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. 11 Wooster Place in New Haven. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Blessed Michael McGivney Parish at St. Francis Church at 11:00. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
