Pasquale J. Barile

Pasquale James "P.J." Barile, 33 of West Harrison, New York was called home on August 11, 2025. Born on August 4, 1992, in Port Chester, New York. P.J. lived a life marked by strength, unwavering dedication, and a deep love for his family, friends, and community.

P.J. served as a White Plains police officer for six years. Becoming a police officer was his lifelong dream, particularly to be part of the Neighborhood Initiative Unit. He was a marksman and received honors such as Meritorious Duty II. In both his professional and personal life, he embodied the true spirit of "Protect and Serve." His commitment to safeguarding others extended far beyond his badge. He was a steadfast presence for those around him during times of hardship.

P.J. was known for his humility, loving nature, and stoic demeanor. A man of strong faith that found peace and purpose in nature. Much of his time was spent on his property in upstate New York with his father and close friends.

He is deeply mourned by his devoted family: his maternal grandmother Carmela Testa; his father Biagio Barile; his mother Gerardina Testa; and his sister Gabriella Barile. He also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and endless brothers and sisters in blue who cherished him dearly.

P.J. was preceded by his paternal grandparents Pasquale and Grazia Barile, as well as his maternal grandfather Sabato Testa.

A wake service will be held at McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home from 3:00-8:00pm on Thursday, August 21, 2025 in White Plains, New York. A mass service will be held at McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home at 11:00am on Friday, August 22, 2025 in White Plains, New York. Procession to Ferncliff Cemetery Hartsdale, New York to follow.
