David Peter Shopinski

David Peter Shopinski, 54, of West Harrison, NY passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025. He was born in New Rochelle, NY on February 2, 1971, to Phyllis (nee Lanza) and Charles Shopinski. David married his wife, Laura, at St. Joseph's Church in New Rochelle, NY on July 21, 2002, and together they had two sons.
David was the owner/operator of Independent Tire and Hydraulics in New Rochelle, and was committed to his sons, hard work, and was a fan of NHRA Drag Racing.
David is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Laura, and their sons, Jacob David and Paul Anthony Shopinski, of West Harrison, NY, his parents, Charles and Phyllis, his brother, Christopher (Sharon) Shopinski, of Tuckahoe, NY, his sister, Dana (Rick) Ribeiro, of Patterson, NY, his nephews, Tyler Shopinski and Christopher Ribeiro, and his niece Rebecca Ribeiro.
David strongly respected family values and his sons were his most cherished accomplishments. He loved and cared for his niece and nephews as well.
