Graveside Service for Pat Oberste, 89 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Blair Cemetery at Sequoyah's Home near Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on December 10, 1934 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Lucille (Edwards) Lowe and Jody Lowe and passed away on April 20, 2024 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.  She was married to Joseph Daniel Oberste on January 21, 1956 in Hartman, Arkansas. Mrs. Oberste was a retired business owner and insurance agent for over 30 years. She was all about her grandchildren and taking care of her family. Christmas was her favorite time of the year and she made it so special with her touch. Every week, Pat cooked Sunday noon meals and everyone was invited. She never ran out of food.

Survivors are husband, Danny of the home; one daughter, Pam Bennett of Tulsa, OK; two sons, Rick Oberste of Sallisaw, OK and Mark Oberste and Lacosta of Sallisaw, OK; eight grandchildren, Danya Oberste of Sallisaw, OK, Stephen Oberste of Sallisaw, OK, Dillon Bennett of Tulsa, OK, Matthew Oberste and Casey of Bixby, OK, Ben Oberste and Katlyn of Sallisaw, OK, Bailey Oberste of Sallisaw, OK, Taten Rice and Robert of Wagoner, OK and Drake Hyde of Sallisaw, OK; eight great-grandchildren, Kate Morgan, Lucy Morgan, Samuel Oberste, Blair Burgess, Baker Burgess, Camden Oberste, Ryan Rice and Olive Rice; one brother, Larry Lowe of Sallisaw, OK; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, June Walters and Linda Lowe and two brothers, Willis Lowe and Jonce Lowe.

Honorary Pallbearers will be The Fellas at The Round Table of Ruger's Restaurant. 

Visitation with the family will be  6 - 8 PM Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
