Obituary of Paticia Lee Armstrong
Patricia Lee Armstrong, age 88, of Valatie, NY passed away on May 24, 2025 at St. Peter's hospital.
Born in Yonkers, NY to John Armstrong and Martha Steuhl on March 4, 1937. She went to Ichabod Crane High School and graduated Salutatorian in 1955. She then went to St. Luke's School of Nursing and earned her degree as an RN. Out of Nursing School she went to work for Dr. Irma Waldo a pediatrician. She worked for Barnwell Nursing Home until she retired. She was a member of the Eastern Star. She was also a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Kinderhook where she was the Senior Warden. She enjoyed traveling, music, and her 2 cats, Alex and Elizabeth.
She is survived by her brothers Jack (John) Armstrong ( Carol Ann) and Thomas A Armstrong ( Sandy) and sisters Elaine Barbato ( Carmen), Janet Mix, and Mary St. Pierre. She was predeceased by her brother Arnold Hatfield. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to St. Paul's Organ Fund, PO Box 637,6 Sylvester Street, Kinderhook, NY 12106
On June 27th, she will have a service by the Eastern Star at 10:30 in the McNary Center at the Episcopal Church, Kinderhook, followed by A Memorial Service at 11 am in the church.
