Patricia June Akers, age 84, of Ozark, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024. She was born June 4, 1940, in Bradley County, Tennessee. The daughter of Jesse Junior Lones and Opal Margaret (Streng) Lones.
Patricia was a loving wife and mother. She spent her life serving the Lord and others. On March 1, 1990, she married Marvin Lee Akers.
Survivors include three siblings, her sisters Joyce Miller, Linda Hyde and husband Jimmy Hyde and brother Rex Lones; her daughter Crystal Lee Albers and husband Tom Albers, Susanville, CA; son-in-law Sam Parsons, Virginia Beach, VA; four grandchildren, Aubrie Norton, NE; Russell Middleton, MO, Gabrielle (Nikki) Holt and husband Philip Holt, GA, Samantha (Sami) Shoemaker and husband Mike Shoemaker, CA; four great-grandchildren, Jenah Norton, Cruz Middleton, Charlie Rose and Walker Lee Shoemaker; two step-children, Bruce Lee Akers, Nixa, MO and Audra Rose, Payette, ID; and three step-grandchildren, Alexys Akers and husband Alex Ritchie, Sarah Gross and Noah Gross.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, husband Marvin Lee Akers, husband Carroll Grant Hinkley Jr., brother Roger Lones, two sisters Brenda Sue Bristol and Mary Hess; and two daughters, Katherine Elaine Middleton and Lana Rae Parsons. A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 18, 2024, 9:30 am at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, MO. Burial will follow at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, where she will be laid to rest with her loving husband.
