Patricia Lynn (Clancy) Aronson passed away December 19, 2023 in Frisco, Texas at the age of 68. She was born December 27, 1954 in Glendale, California to Earl John Clancy and Doris (Partlow) Clancy.
Patti moved to Michigan when she was quite young and always considered Michigan "home". She attended Lamphere High School in Madison Heights, Michigan. In her late teens, she met and married Bruce Anderson. They had a son, Devon. Though the marriage ended, Bruce and Patti remained amicable co-parents. Several years later, Patti fell for the "boy next door." She married Jim Aronson in 1978. The couple welcomed twins, Jeremy and Jason, the following year. The family relocated to North Carolina in 1998. After Jim passed, Patti returned home. Pat spent the last 3 years in Texas near Devon and his family.
Patti was an avid reader. She enjoyed art, adult coloring books, watching Hallmark movies and most of all she loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. The grandchildren loved "Grandma Pat" very much.
Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Earl John Clancy and husbands, Bruce Anderson and Jimmy "Jim" Aronson.
She is survived by her son, Devon Anderson and wife, Carolyn of McKinney, Texas; son, Jason Aronson of Raleigh, North Carolina; son, Jeremy Aronson and wife, Michelle of Willow Spring, North Carolina; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Anderson, Khloe Anderson, Brandon Aronson and wife, Carolina, and Emily Aronson; step grandchildren, Austin and Braeden Caro; mother, Doris Clancy of Shelby Township, Michigan; brothers, Mike Clancy and wife, Liz of Macomb TWP, Michigan and Rick Clancy and husband, Jerome Rizzo of St. Claire Shores, Michigan; sisters, Sheryl Clancy-Maenza of Scottsdale, Arizona and Brenda Young of Shelby Township, Michigan as well as several nieces and a host of other loving family and friends including longtime friend Debbie Hunt and special friend Cynthia Johnson.
A funeral service will be held 4:00 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2024 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
