He was born on June 11, 1961, to Barbara Daniel and Melvin Daniel.
Professionally, Robert was a loyal employee to Waller Tire where he served for over 27 plus years.
Robert was a fixture in the Hopewell community for many years. He was a loving soul and had a heart of gold. He always greeted everyone he met with a big smile or a funny joke. He loved fishing, playing horseshoes, deejaying for people and rooting for the Washington Commanders team.
The joy he spread throughout the community will surely be missed and the generosity he shared with those in their time of need can never be measured. We have lost a beautiful and loving person. God has called home one of his angels.
He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his son Anthony Moore, his sister Vera Daniel and grandson, Bernard (BJ).
Left to cherish his precious memories: his wife, Corrina Daniel; his daughters, Lora, Tanesha, Latavia: his sons, Christopher and Kendrell; goddaughter, Tiara; his grandkids, Reginald, My'Chelle, Ke'Mya, Kataleya, Tru, Ka'Mari, Anthony, Jackson, Khloie, Robert; sisters, Vera, Melvina, Sherry (Gary); brothers, Lewis (Talanea), Thomas (Loretta), Paul; nieces, Nateita, Marquita, Keyondra, Marie, Zoe; nephews, Anthony (Maria), Melvin (Emily), Anton, Nathanael, and Carlos; close friends; Paula, Ellen, Gilbert, Billy, Mike, Darryl, Russell and Lanier Wesson Jr.; and a host of cousins aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm, Friday, August 29th, 2025 at the Petersburg Chapel of Bland Funeral Home, 137 Harrison Street, Petersburg, VA. Public visitation will be held from 10am-8pm, Thursday, August 28th, 2025 at the funeral home.
