Patricia Ann (Babcock) Barrios, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 4th, 2024, at the age of 74. Born on February 11th, 1950, Patricia was a beacon of warmth to all who had the privilege to know her.
Patricia graduated from Fox High School in 1968 and dedicated her life to her beloved family. Known for her boundless love for her grandchildren, she retired from Lowe's in 2017 to devote herself fully to helping raise them-a role she embraced with profound love. Her life was a testament to her deep commitment to family.
Beyond her role as a devoted grandmother, Patricia found joy in her passions for gardening, shopping, decorating, and cooking. Her hobbies not only brought her immense happiness but also filled the lives and homes of her loved ones with beauty and warmth. Patricia's kindness and unwavering love for her family and friends will be forever treasured.
She is survived by her daughter, Meghan [Michael] Nelson of Prosper, TX; her son, Blake Barrios of Broken Arrow, OK; and her son Christian [Amy] Barrios of Waverly, IA. Patricia is also survived by her siblings: David Babcock of Broken Arrow, OK; Gail Hull of Phoenix, AZ; Larry Babcock of Blanchard, OK; Lloyd Babcock of Weatherford, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Her memory will be lovingly cherished by her adored grandchildren who affectionately called her "Gigi": Delaney Nelson, Olivia Nelson, Kameron Tudor, Remi Barrios, Blake Balderas, and Brock Barrios.
Patricia is preceded in death by her dear mother, Margaret Lorean Babcock, and her beloved father, LR "Bud" Babcock.
A memorial service to celebrate Patricia's life will be held at Union Chapel Church in Hennessey, OK, on August 31, 2024, officiated by Shane Babcock, Todd Hull and Greg Hull. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude via this link,
