Patricia Alice Barry

Patricia "Pat" Alice Barry, Age 77, of Fridley, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born in Duluth on November 15, 1948, to Margaret (Laabs) and Leland Hantelman. Pat is a graduate from Hermantown High School.
Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Leland Hantelman; sisters, Joanne Haider and Doris Toms. Survived by her children, Edward Barry (Grace Geer) and Susan Barry (Kerri Kimm); her cherished grandsons, Raeden Barry Geer and Simon Barry; sister, Orma Pitoscia; brother, Craig (Christie) Hantelman; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Pat is also survived by her dear friends Gretchen Ganzel and Sherri Champion, as well as her longtime friend and former husband, Steve (Florie) Barry.
Pat devoted 27 years of her career to Deluxe, where she formed many lasting friendships. She later worked at Northstar Financial Forms until her health struggles with Neurosarcoidosis began to affect her. Throughout her life, Pat was known for her positive outlook, gentle demeanor, and laid-back spirit. Her quiet, unassuming presence endeared her to many, and her kindness and warmth touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. Above all, Pat loved being a grandma. The time she spent with Raeden and Simon brought her immeasurable joy, and they were truly the light of her life.
Pat deeply loved her family and friends, and she returned that love freely and generously. Her strong faith was an anchor throughout her life, and her family finds comfort in knowing she is now at peace with her Lord and Savior.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a tree be planted in Pat's memory, allowing her legacy to continue to grow.
