Patricia "Pat" Ann Berg, age 88 passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Arborwood of Wisconsin Rapids. She was born on January 16, 1935, in Windom, Minnesota the daughter of Kenneth and Lucille (Rhoads) Maher.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 10, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke's Lutheran Church with the Reverend Matthew Bergstresser presiding. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
Pat married Wesley Berg on June 27, 1954, in Bingham Lake, Minnesota, he preceded her in death on January 6, 1993. Pat worked in her earlier years as a hairdresser and cosmetologist, she later worked at Fey Publishing and later retired from Blunt Ellis and Loewi investors. Pat was a longtime active member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church participating in many different groups in the church. She was also a member of the Elks Lodge 693 and the Elks Ladies Auxiliary. She also had many interests including, bowling, travelling, softball, snowmobiling and playing bridge and poker.
Pat is survived by her children, Robert (Julie) Berg, Bruce (Pam) Berg, Cheryl Berg and Barbara (Tim) Plowman; grandchildren, Eric Berg, Brian Berg, Dan (Allison) Berg, Stephen (Karmen) Berg, Kevin (Lauren Rowe) Berg, Danielle (Nick) Shear, Tiffany (Brian) Van Eperen and Wesley Plowman; great grandchildren Emmaline and Madelyn Berg, Wyatt and Aiden Shear; and a sister-in-law Dorothy Gunner. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 39 years Wesley; her siblings, Gene Maher, Donna Kielty, Wayne Maher and by her stepbrother William Estle.
The family would like to thank the staffs of Arborwood and Promedica Hospice for the compassionate care they gave Pat. Memorials may be made in Pat's name to St. Luke's Lutheran church.
