Patricia "Patty" Bevilacqua, of Pembroke, passed away on March 24, 2025 at the age of 79. She was the daughter of the late Muriel (Venue) and Philip C. Cocio.
Patty was born and raised in Quincy where she graduated from Quincy High School. She married the love of her life, Ralph "Buddy" Bevilacqua on September 24, 1965 and the two settled in Quincy to raise their family. Patty worked a lengthy career in accounting for Stop & Shop Corporate offices. She and Buddy later moved to Pembroke where they have loved living for the last 28 years.
Patty's family was the most important thing to her. She would often be found at her grandchildren's events, hosting Sunday dinners or preparing for upcoming celebrations. She spent her free time with a good book and cup or tea or maybe a glass of wine if it was five o'clock somewhere. She enjoyed golfing, shopping and going to lunch with friends.
Patty was the wife of 60 years to Ralph "Buddy" Bevilacqua. Mother of the late Michelle M. Choate and her husband Jon of Plymouth and Ralph C. Bevilacqua, Jr. and his wife Julie of Plymouth. Grandmother of Grace and Daniel Bevilacqua. Sister of Phyllis Ryan, Michelle Sharp and her husband Jerry, Philip Cocio, and his wife Maureen and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 28th starting at 4:00PM at the Sullivan Funeral Home in Hanover - 551 Washington St., Rt. 53. A prayer service will begin at 6:30PM in the funeral home.
