Patricia Ann Grant Busby was born November 27, 1947, in Monroe, Louisiana to the union of Otho Ocie Grant and Gloria Muriel Harper Tarver and she passed from this life on August 30, 2025, at Citizens Medical Center in Columbia, Louisiana. She was a kind, loving person who loved fishing and going to rummage sales. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved son, Scotty Wayne Busby, her brother, Travis Grant and sister-in-law, Myrtie Laffoon.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 60 years, Fred Junior Busby; her brother, Richard Grant (Kay); sisters: Linda Grant Lowery, DeWanna Grant Adams (Donald), and Kathy Tarver Laffoon; her brother-in-law, Tommy Busby (Peggy); sisters-in-law, Marie Busby Thomas (Jeff); and Opal Busby Faulkner (Uriah); a special friend that was like a son, Allen McKeithen; and special friends: Charles Dubose, Jessica Morris and family, and her neighbor at the Ol’ Mill Pond, James Jordan.
The family would like to thank everyone for their love, support and prayers. At this time, a memorial service is not scheduled.
