Mrs. Chestnut was born September 10, 1952 to Audrey Henry Scarbrough in Phenix City, Alabama. She worked as a manager at Marathon in Phenix City, Alabama. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Larry Scarbrough.
Surviving are her husband, David Chestnut; daughter, Gina Pruett; son, Michael Wayne Lewis; two brothers, Michael Scarbrough (Lisa) and Larry Cooper (Nina); sister, Shirley Bunce; three grandchildren, Jeremy McCart, Jacob McCart, and Brittany McCart; nine great-grandchildren.
