Patricia Diane Cooper, 74, of Powdersville, South Carolina, beloved wife of James H. Cooper, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at her home.
Born in Greenville, South Carolina on March 6, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Wayne and Priscilla Haynes. She graduated from Wren High School, where she laid the foundation for a life filled with determination and love. Diane was known for her feisty spirit, bringing joy and warmth to everyone around her. Throughout her life, Diane had a passion for the beach, finding peace and happiness in the sound of the waves and the feel of the sun on her skin. She also took great pride in tending to her flower garden, nurturing each bloom with care and attention. Above all, Diane cherished her family, with a special love for her grandbabies, who were the light of her life.
In addition to her loving husband of 54 years, she is survived by a son, Michael Shane Cooper (Crystal Singleton) of Powdersville, South Carolina; a daughter, Dana Machelle Cooper, of Powdersville, South Carolina; a brother, Larry Haynes, of Easley, South Carolina; four sisters, Shirley Smith (Freddie), of Pelzer, South Carolina, Sandra Burger (Kenneth), of Powdersville, South Carolina, Debbie Green, of Piedmont, South Carolina, and Tammy Lockee (Hal), of Powdersville, South Carolina; and five grandchildren, Braeden Williams, Emma Huffman, Jaelyn Williams, Caiden Singleton, and Chance Cooper, all of Powdersville, South Carolina.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, March 31, 2025 at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.
Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to the National Kidney Association, www.Kidney.org.
