Patricia Derleth Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Generations Funeral Home & Crematory - Tomahawk on Nov. 22, 2022.
Patricia "Trish" H. Derleth, age 71, of Tomahawk, WI, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022, at the home of her daughter, under the care of her family and Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice. Trish was born in Tomahawk on November 30, 1950, to the late William and Kathryn (Tierney) Stiff.
Trish was a lifelong resident of Tomahawk and a 1968 graduate of the Tomahawk High School. After graduation, she attended cosmetology school in Wausau. Trish was a dedicated homemaker who lovingly raised her three children and babysat for many of the neighborhood children in Dousville. She later worked as a secretary at Runyon Law Office and was extremely proud of her work at the Crisis Center in Rhinelander. Trish finished her career at the Tomahawk Medical Center. Trish's greatest loves were her children and grandchildren. She loved spending time with them, never missing a sporting event whether in person or listening on the radio, and was committed to supporting them through all of their endeavors. Trish lit up a room with her personality and was all about fun. She loved laughing and spending time with her special friend, Jim, she enjoyed a cocktail, loved watching the Packers and Badgers, and was very close to her siblings, often watching television shows together virtually. Trish's energy and zest for life will be remembered by all who knew her.
Survivors include her son, Tony (Dawn) Derleth, of Tomahawk; her daughters, Alicia (Tadd) Wegener, and Melissa (Justin) Cerny, both of Tomahawk; her brother, William (Barb) Stiff, of Wausau, WI; her sisters, Mary (Art) Tralmer, of Tomah, WI, and Maureen Lechleitner, of Tomahawk; her brother-in-law, Tom Lindquist, of Merrill, WI; and her significant other, Jim Postl, of Tomahawk. Trish is further survived by her grandchildren, Jerry, Kaleb, Jordyn, Jake, Kate, Kailey, Jack, Ben, Will, and Luke.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Kathryn; and her sisters, (infant) Colleen Stiff and Kathy Lindquist.
Memorial services for Trish Derleth will be held on Friday, November 25, 2022, at 12:00 PM, at Generations Funeral Home. Rev. Larry Mathein will officiate. The family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of services at 12:00 PM. Generations Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.
