Obituary of Patricia Einhouse
Patricia Barrett Einhouse (Pat, Patty, Mema, Mooma), age 74, of Tarpon Springs Florida, went Home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 9, 2023.
She was born on September 11, 1948, in DeLand Florida, a daughter to Charles Clayton and Delora Arnold Barrett.
Pat graduated from DeLand High School, Class of 1966 and attended the University of South Florida before working for several years as a technician at the Florida Department of Transportation in DeLand, Florida. After moving to the Orlando area, she worked as a project manager for several civil engineering consulting firms in Orlando.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clayton and Delora Barrett and her brother Charles (Chuck) Barrett. Pat leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved husband of 29 years, Jeff Einhouse, her son Michael Wilson of New Port Richey, Florida, daughter Michelle Coburn of Orlando, Florida, step-daughters Cari Ann Beachum of Thompson's Station, TN, Cristin Rudi of St. Johns, Florida, Heather Bologna of Land-O-Lakes, Florida and step-son Jeffrey Einhouse, II of Breckenridge CO. In addition, she leaves behind ten grandchildren, as well as four great-grandchildren.
Pat was a strong, independent woman of very strong faith. She was a fighter to the very end of her life. She successfully survived bilateral lung transplantation surgery in early 2018 but succumbed to severe nerve damage resulting from the shingles in late 2020, suffering through severe pain during her final 3 years on this earth. But her strong faith in God and love of family allowed her to live each day with joy in her heart. She was a former member of Tuskawilla Presbyterian Church in Oviedo, Florida and later attended Northland Church in Longwood, Florida. Since 2020, she has been an on-line member of Victory Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She loved reading the Bible and sharing scripture with family and friends every day.
Her remains will be placed at sea near a small sandbar island where she loved to walk on the beach. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on the community pool deck at Pointe Tarpon Townhomes, Tarpon Springs, Florida starting at 3:00 pm on July 1, 2023.
