Patricia Faye Jackson Joiner, 87 years old, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 24, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She entered this world on October 24, 1937, born to Hazel and Eddie Jackson, in Plaquemine, Louisiana. She was a member of Immaculate Conception of Denham Springs.
She was a vibrant soul with a passion for life that touched everyone around her. She cherished exploring the world, embarking on countless cruises that filled her with joy and stories to share. A devoted mother and grandmother, she was a constant presence at school activities, from "fun night" to every event that mattered to her children and grandchildren. Her love for cooking was legendary, her kitchen was the heart of her home, where she cooked delicious meals and beautiful baked cakes. Every Thanksgiving and Christmas, she poured her heart and soul into cooking feasts that brought the family together, creating traditions that will live on in their memories.
Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Homer "Bill" Joiner, Jr.; daughters, Karen Allen, Melody Cedotal (Ted), and Paula Lemoine (Nathan); sons, Mark Boudreaux (Brandy) and Chris Jackson (Selena); grandchildren, Vikki, Preston, Wendi, Alexis, Nicole, Nathan, Jr., Levi, Madelyn, Chris, Alicia, Steven, Kadie, Ciara, Halie, Katelyn, Christopher, Victoria, Ashton, and Adriana; and 28 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her; father, Eddie Jackson; mother, Hazel Jackson;son-in-law, Tony Allen; sisters, Jackie Blades and Wanda Lindsey.
Serving as pallbearers will be Nathan Lemoine, Jr., Preston Allen, Levi Lemoine, Steven Bowling, Taylor Plauche, and Hayden Paetz.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The visitation will continue at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 10:30 AM, officiated by Deacon Tommy Benoit. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
