Patricia Louise Fiedler

Bloomington - Fiedler, Patricia (Gmitro) Our loving mother Patricia passed away suddenly on July 31, 2025 at the age of 98. She is survived by her children Michael Gmitro, Karen (Gmitro) Smead (Peter), and Kathryn Gmitro Masterman (Michael); Grandchildren Rick Gmitro, Michelle Gmitro, David Masterman (Katie), Matthew Masterman (Toni), Jon Prieto, Joe Prieto, and Leyla Smead; sisters Joan Schulze, and Joyce Andreasen (Dave); nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Helen Williams, husband Richard Gmitro, husband Donald Fiedler, son Mark Gmitro, and brother-inlaw Arthur Schulze. Pat lived a fulfilling life raising four children (two sets of twins) with her husband Dick in Edina, Minnesota. After Dick passed away at the age of 53, she later married Donald Fiedler and they enjoyed 25 years together. Pat loved spending time with her family and friends. She would always greet you with a beautiful smile. Pat stayed active throughout her life. She was an avid bridge player, enjoyed long daily walks and dancing, and was passionate about the game of golf. She especially enjoyed her golf trips to Palm Springs and Florida during the winter months. Pat's spiritual foundation was based on her love for her family and friends. When she was asked how she would like to be remembered, she said "I would like to be remembered for loving my children."
