Phyllis Ann (Beals) Fiedler, 64, passed peacefully on Tuesday Febuary 25, 2025 at Heritage Gardens Nursing Home in Oskaloosa, KS. Born March 8, 1960 in Topeka, KS, Phyllis was the youngest of her seven siblings to mother Grace Marie (Primm) and father John James Beals
Phyllis was born and raised in Topeka, were she lived all of her life. A graduate from Topeka West as part of the Class of '78, she was a lifelong fan of music and spoke fondly of and held loving memories of being raised with her six siblings.
Phyllis married Gregory Lee Fiedler once he moved to Topeka from Holton. She was the loving mother to Adam Lee and Amanda Sue where she put all of her energy and dedication. She kept the home full of love and affection and constantly played her favorite music from the Backstreet Boys. She encouraged her children in their own passions and did her best to further their growth.
She is survived by her son Adam Lee of KCMO, daughter Amanda Sue (Wyatt) Thomas of Bloomfield, NE, and granddaughter Nayla Sue Ann Thomas; six older siblings, brother Edward Curtis (Joyce) Beals of Berryton, KS, sister Lorraine (Kurt) Scheibe of Topeka, KS, sister Sandra Kay (John) Brewer of Harker Heights, TX, sister Joyce Marie Godse of Topeka, KS, Sister Barbara Gene (Roger) Uitts of Osage City, KS, and David Wayne of Topeka, KS, and many nieces and nephews.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her mother, Grace Marie in 1997.
The family had a private service together to celebrate Phyllis and spread her ashes on her mothers grave. Memorials and special messages can be mailed to Adam Fiedler at the Fiedler Family home on 246
