Patricia graduated from Huntington High School, Class of 1977. She served in the United States Navy Reserves 1990-1998 as an E4 officer. Then went on to complete her Bachelors Degree at Bethel University and finished her MBA at Union University in December of 2008. Patricia retired as a Farm Loan Officer from Farm Bureau Soil Conservation of Robertson County. She then worked part time as an accountant after retirement.
Patricia dedicated her life to the Lord as a young teen, at First Baptist Church in Huntington TN. She lived her life in strong Christian faith. Her most happiest moments were spent being a Grann to her 3 precious granddaughters, Shyann, Jaycee and Ella Jean. She enjoyed thrift shopping and spending time with family and friends.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, JC and IZ (Matheny) Murphy. She is survived by her 2 sons, Jessie (Chelsea) Freeland of Nashville TN. John (Shellie) Freeland of Greenbrier TN. 3 grand-daughters, Shyann Lynn Freeland, Jaycee Dean Freeland and Ella Jean Freeland. One sister, Pasty Baker of Milan, TN. A host of nieces and nephews and her best friend and companion of 8 years, her Border Collie, Bo.
