Patricia Grappone Obituary
Patricia Grappone, 89, of Rutherford, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2024. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Patricia was the daughter of the late Frank and Marie (Lanza) Spiezio. She retired as an Executive Assistant to the Vice President of the Oncology Department at Hoffman LaRoche. The beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Grappone, Patricia, is survived by her children John Grappone and Janine Kordas (Robert), sister Nancy Specht, and one granddaughter Alexis Kordas. She was predeceased by her brother Simone "Sonny" Spiezio.
The funeral will be Friday at 11:00AM from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00PM at St. Mary's Church, 91 Home Avenue, Rutherford. The entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Thursday, December 12th from 3:00PM – 7:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Patricia to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org/donate) would be appreciated.
