Patricia Jane Harman
October 8, 1928 – January 7, 2024
Patricia Jane (Snyder) Harman, 95 of Indianapolis, IN passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born on October 8, 1928, in Amsterdam, NY. to Raymond and Stella (Knight) Synder. She married the love of her life William Thomas Harman, Sr. on February 8, 1948. They moved to Indiana in 1954 and shared nearly 50 years of happiness together.
Patricia is survived by her 4 children, William (Nancy) Harman of Indianapolis, Susan (Thomas) Gill of Indianapolis, Sheri Harman of McCordsville, and Milissa (Mark) Sorley of Noblesville. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, William (Misshel) Breen, Steven (Jennifer) Harman, Stephanie (Amy) Harman, Mindy Disney, Brian (Elizabeth) Disney, Tyler Jones, Brittney (Alex) Wright, Tanner Jones, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Patrica was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Raymond Snyder Jr. and Gerald Snyder and grandson Robert Breen.
Patricia loved to travel with her husband, sew, play the organ, work in her yard, and take care of her swimming pool but she especially loved the close relationships that she shared with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed hosting numerous family gatherings and was an excellent cook. She loved her computer and enjoyed looking up recipes, playing online Bridge, making personalized birthday cards, and keeping up with family and friends on Facebook. She gave the best advice and always knew the perfect thing to say in every situation. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be on Saturday, January 20, 2024, from 10am until the time of service at 12 noon at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park North 2706 Kessler Boulevard West Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46228. Burial will be next to her beloved husband at Washington Park North Cemetery immediately following the service. Memorial contribution can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
