Patricia Ann Hawkins

Hawkins, Patricia Ann of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, formerly of Flushing, Michigan, age 78, entered into the presence of her Savior on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, surrounded by her daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren. A service celebrating her homegoing will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Rossell Funeral Home. Pastor Kurt Obermeyer and Kevin Chaney will officiate. Burial will follow at Flushing Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Flushing Bible Church.
Patricia was born in Flint, Michigan on June 14, 1947, the daughter of Carl and Dorothy (Bueche) Travis. She was a graduate of Flushing High School. Patricia was saved by grace and devoted to the Lord. She was actively involved in her church and loved sharing the gospel. Patricia was a hard worker and devoted friend, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed being outdoors and sitting in the sunshine, and loved a good ice cream cone. Patricia especially loved time with her family, watching her grandchildren play outside, and was looking forward to becoming a great-grandmother in the spring.
Patricia is survived by her children, Shawn (Kristen) Hawkins, Jason (Jeni) Hawkins, Amy (Kevin) Chaney; and grandchildren, Chelse (Jordan) Olivo, Cam (Rachel) Hawkins, Kylie Hawkins, Emma Hawkins, Taylor (Christian) Scott, Olivia (Will) Perry, Collin Chaney, Brennan Chaney, Sophia Chaney, Adeline Chaney, Jamison Chaney, Sullivan Chaney, Dawson Chaney, Kingston Chaney, and Milly Chaney. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandmother, Rose Bueche.
A special thanks to all of Pat's friends, neighbors, and church family in Flushing who faithfully helped her in so many ways over the years. An extra special thanks to her dear friends, Nancy and Paul Snitko, and Sheryl and Paul Korthals, for their steadfast faithfulness, love, and encouragement in the Lord.
