Patricia Lynn Highley

Patricia Lynn Highley, aged 72, of Centerburg, passed away at 4:44 a.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Centerburg Pointe. Born on January 18, 1953, in Mansfield, she was the daughter of the late Charles William Prosser and Betty Cleveland. On March 21, 1998, she married William L. Highley after meeting him at the Linden AMVETS, and together they shared twenty-eight loving years together, married twenty seven years.
Patricia worked as a Lab Technician for Anheuser-Busch. Known for being a loving mother and grandmother, Patricia also has a love for ferrets and was a "ferret mom" to too many to count over the years. Her deep faith led her to attend and help found the St. Andrews Anglican Church in Lewis Center. Patricia was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aeries 3614, Sunbury and Life Member of the AMVETS Post 59 in Centerburg.
In addition to her loving husband, survivors include her son, Charles (Violet) Prosser of Warren; her grandchildren, Noah, Jacob and Christy and her niece, Jennifer Prosser/Ania. Along with a host of many friends.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by two brothers, Keith and Sonny.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2025, in the Snyder Funeral Homes, DeVore Chapel, 637 North State Route 61, Sunbury, Ohio 43074. The Very Reverend Fr. Christopher Klukas, Director at the St. Andrews Anglican Church will officiate, burial to follow in the Union Cemetery, Columbus.
Friends may visit with the family from 5p.m.-8p.m. on Wednesday, October 15, the evening before the service at the funeral home where an Eagles Auxiliary Funeral Ritual will take place.
