She was born in Johnstown, daughter of the late Doris J. (Koontz) and Clarence W. Plows, Sr. and was the wife of the late Lamarr Z. Horst who passed away on December 31, 2022. They had shared 55 years of marriage.
Patricia was a member of Wiest Memorial United Methodist Church, Schoeneck. She was very family oriented, enjoyed cooking, and volunteered for the community dinner at church.
Patricia is survived by 3 daughters, Stacy (Daryl) Smith, Jennifer (Daniel) Vogel, and Denise Copeland; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dolores Heisey.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Robert Marshall, and a brother, Clarence W. Plows, Jr.
A memorial service to celebrate the lives of Lamarr and Patricia will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 10:00 AM, at the Mellingers Lutheran Church, 80 Gockley Road, Schoeneck, with Pastor Lyle Neal officiating. Inurnment will take place in the Mellingers Union Cemetery.
