Ayres Jordan
Patricia Anne Ayres Jordan, 62, of Monticello Street, Waynesboro, Virginia, died on Sunday, December 5, 2010 at Augusta Health.
She was born on December 4, 1948, daughter of Layton W. Ayres and Helen Irene Howell Ayres.
She had worked previously at Genicom and more recently at American Safety Razor.
Mrs. Jordan was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Jordan; one brother, Melvin Ayres; one sister, Susan Ayres Robideaux; and her mother-in-law, Alberta C. Jordan.
Left to chrerish her memories are her daughters, Jessica Helmick and Emily C. Jordan, both of Waynesboro; two grandchildren, Christopher Helmick and Ashlyn Guthrie; three brothers, Byron Ayres and his wife, Carolyn, Ronald Ayres and his wife, Barbara, and Gary Ayres; and her sister, Kimberly Ayres Vest.
A memorial service will be conducted 3 p.m. Thursday, December 9, 2010, at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church by Doctor Eric Childress. Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends at the church following the service.

I worked with Pat at General Electric/Genicom. She was such a hardworking - could do anything - but fun person too. I had a lot of respect for her. I can still see her driving the fork lift trucks in Shipping. Cherish your memories of happier times with her - as I will too.

I worked with Pat at ASR. I will always remember her as a kind and caring lady. She always put the needs of others before her own. She will be greatly missed.
