Patricia K. La Spina

It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Patricia (Pat) K. La Spina of Tillson, NY. Surrounded by her family, God decided he needed another angel on December 23, 2025. Pat was born on December 13, 1942, in The Bronx, NY, to Pasquale and Margaret Cesaro. For over 35 years she worked at SUNY Ulster in Stone Ridge until she suffered a massive stroke in 2014. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, godmother and friend, she was always available to be there for anyone and loved her family beyond words. Pat leaves behind her devoted husband Vincent J. La Spina of 63 years who never skipped a beat in caring for her at home 24/7. She also leaves behind her loving daughters Gina, Patricia/Teekie and son Vincent (Kate). Pat was beyond blessed to have the most amazing grandchildren - Alexia, Abigail, Grace, Matthew (Mia) and baby Arabella that she adored and loved immensely. Pat enjoyed taking vacations, cruises, shopping, going to her grandchildren's events, out to dinners/lunches, movies, getting massages, using her tablet to play Word Search and Mahjong, etc., and one of her favorite outings was going to the casino. She was known to be a vibrant and cheerful person that had quite a sense of humor and all people that knew her really adored her. Pat will live on through many cherished friends some of whom know how deeply she considered them family and were forever in her heart. She fought the hardest fight and will be missed forever. Inurnment service will be private and a Celebration of her Life for close family and friends will be announced at a later date.
