Patty worked for various salons in Northwest Ohio and Newport, Rhode Island before becoming a stay-at-home mom. Later, she opened Expressions Styling Salon in uptown Perrysburg and as it grew, moved it to a larger location in the old BancOhio building. She loved being with her family, boating, the Toledo Zoo and birds. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister.
Patty is survived by her husband of 56 years, Larry A. Mandell; son Jeff (Amy) Mandell; daughter, Jamie (Brandon) Pelton; grandchildren, Madisen (Ian) Tallman, Allisen Mandell, Izabelle Mandell, Avery Mandell, Cole Pelton, and Brenna Pelton; great grandchild, Oaklyn; brothers, Norman Fix and Robert (Marie) Fix. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James Fix; and sister-in-law, Beverly Fix.
Friends will be received at Witzler Shank Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary St, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 3:00 PM-7:00 PM. Funeral service will be at the funeral home on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 10:00 AM followed by inurnment at Ft. Meigs Union Cemetery. Memorial donations in Patty's name may be made to the Toledo Zoo, Wood County Parks or a charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences may be left to the family at walkerfuneralhomes.com.
