Funny, outstanding, gorgeous, and controversial! The best qualities she had. Having it rough in my home life and not having many friends was rough. She became my first ever best friend, ate lunch with her sometimes, we emailed back and forth through highschool and some years afterwards! I'm gonna miss our talks and her wisdom. Love you forever Pat, rest in peace you sweet lady.

Ms.McDivitt is the reason I fell in love with English and reading. She had a special way of bringing out the best of every student she taught. I am so very grateful that I had her as a teacher. She helped me more than she will ever know. Thank you.

She was the best teacher I ever had in high school. Whenever I subbed I always went back and visited her.

She and her class was my "safe place". She cared deeply about her students. She loved Edgar Allen Poe and we would always share our favorite stories from him. She always made sure I was fed and helped me believe in my self. Thank you Ms.McDivitt. I´ll miss you.

Her eccentric attitude always put a smile on all her students faces. She was passionate about her work and always had a story to tell her students. She was special to every student that entered her class.
